Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 05/06/2026
NextGPU ("NextGPU", "we", "our", or "us") is designed as a privacy-first, local-first AI platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when users access or use NextGPU websites, applications, desktop software, AI hub, GPU sharing features, Web GUIs, and related services (collectively referred to as the "Services").
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Local-First Privacy
NextGPU is built so that user data remains local by default. We do not retain personal information, prompts, files, conversations, AI outputs, workload content, or local AI activity on our servers.
Your data stays on your device unless you choose to export, share, transmit, or use a feature that requires external communication.
2. Information We Do Not Retain
NextGPU does not retain:
- Personal information
- AI prompts or conversations
- Uploaded files or documents
- Generated outputs
- Local workload content
- Private model activity
- Personal usage history tied to an individual user
We do not sell personal data, use personal data for advertising, or use user content to train third-party AI models.
3. Anonymous Usage Metrics
NextGPU may collect anonymous usage metrics to improve the product. These metrics are designed not to identify individual users.
Anonymous metrics may include:
- Feature usage statistics
- General performance data
- Crash or error reports
- Device compatibility signals
- System stability indicators
- Aggregated interaction patterns
These metrics help us improve reliability, performance, security, and user experience.
4. How We Use Anonymous Metrics
We use anonymous usage metrics to:
- Improve platform performance
- Identify bugs and technical issues
- Monitor feature reliability
- Improve compatibility across devices
- Enhance product usability
- Support security and stability improvements
Anonymous metrics are not used to identify, profile, or track individual users.
5. Local AI Data
When you use NextGPU AI hub or other local AI features, your prompts, files, outputs, conversations, and model activity are processed locally on your device.
NextGPU does not retain this data on its servers. You are responsible for managing data stored locally on your device, including backups, deletion, device access, and local security settings.
6. Distributed GPU Features
If you use distributed GPU sharing or remote execution features, certain technical data may be transmitted only as needed to perform the requested function.
NextGPU is designed to minimize data exposure and support secure communication between network participants. We do not retain personal workload content on our servers after execution.
7. Blockchain and Wallet Interactions
If you interact with blockchain-based features, public blockchain networks may process and display wallet addresses, transactions, smart contract interactions, and related activity.
This information exists on public blockchain networks and is not controlled, stored, or deleted by NextGPU. Users should understand that blockchain transactions may be public and permanent.
8. Cookies and Local Storage
NextGPU may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies only where necessary to operate the Services, maintain preferences, improve functionality, or support security.
We do not use cookies to sell personal data or build advertising profiles.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling them may affect certain features.
9. Data Sharing
Because NextGPU does not retain personal information, we do not sell or share personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
Anonymous and aggregated metrics may be used internally or shared with service providers only to support product improvement, reliability analytics, and infrastructure performance.
10. Security
NextGPU uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Services and support secure operation.
However, no software, network, wallet, blockchain, or electronic system is completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their devices, wallets, credentials, private keys, and local environments.
11. Children's Privacy
NextGPU is not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect or retain personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to NextGPU, contact us at hello@nextgpu.ai.
12. User Choices
Because NextGPU does not retain personal information, most user data remains under the user's direct control on their own device.
Users can manage or delete local data through their device, browser, application settings, or by uninstalling the relevant software.
For privacy-related questions, contact us at hello@nextgpu.ai.
13. Changes To This Privacy Policy
NextGPU may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, we may notify users through the Services, website, or other official communication channels.
Continued use of the Services after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
